As a centre from which to walk or ride on Exmoor, Porlock is unsurpassed. Bring your mountain bike (or hire one) and cycle the trails of Exmoor. Shooting can be enjoyed close to the village, with regular shoots being organised by the National Trust and others.

If you want to fish on your Exmoor Holiday, then Porlock can offer the choice of sea fishing from the Weir or alternatively the reservoirs and rivers of Exmoor are only a short and scenic drive away.

As a golfer you can stay in Porlock and enjoy one of several courses on the edges of Exmoor, with the nearest being only 7 miles away.
